hey there. come here after reading the about me page. that was about what i want the blog to be like. this is an extended introduction.
i'm in my 3rd year as an econ+cs student. i've qualified FRM L1 and attempting the CFA L1 this august. i'm the chief investing officer at the wall street club at bits pilani, which is india's first undergraduate investment club. i manage close to 16L rupees. i'm also the secretary of the society for student mess services, a legally registered organization employing 120 employees and catering to 5000+ students' meals on campus. i'll just give you my linkedin.
what i truly enjoy is financial markets, economics research, movies and writing. here's something i've been looking at recently:
Factor models
first caught my attention last august when i was preparing for the FRM exam. and then, characteristically, i forgot all about it. so feb of this year, a month back, i sat with chatgpt to read up, was when i remembered factor models and so scoured for resources. the fama french 3 factor model and its variations. that's what my next few posts will be about, i guess.
